Jeanette Yoffe has spent her career learning how children and adults adapt to the experience of foster care and adoption.
She has a Mental health practice in Los Angeles
Yoffe Therapy visit here and has a YouTube Channel named Jeanette-ically Speaking dedicated to educating the world about the adoption and foster care experience.
After working with many families in Los Angeles, she saw a great need to support children, adolescents, adults, and their families. So in 2011, she started a grassroots non-profit organization called Celia Center, named after her first mother, Celia. And started "a little support group that could" called Adopt Salon Constellation for all involved in families connected by birth, foster care, adoption, and beyond. This group has been instrumental in providing psychoeducational support for foster and adoptive families, adoptees, and first mothers and has created a stronger sense of family for all!
